The family that commissioned this piece wanted the wicker rocking chair, that belonged to Claire's great grandmother, in the portrait. Claire was preoccupied and didn't want to pose in the chair. Every attempt to set up a pose was lost. She was getting tired and I was about to give up on making this a successful session. Claire walked to the window to look outside and when she turned around... SUCCESS! |
